EMRS Recruitment 2023 Eligibility- To apply candidates must have any recognized Masters degree + B.Ed. + 12 years experience and Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT): Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT or other NCTE recognized institution in concerned subject (OR) Bachelors Honours Degree in the concerned subject. Candidate should have studied requisite subjects for at least 2 years in the 03 years degree course. (OR) Bachelors Degree in concerned subject.
The candidate’s age should be 18 to 40 years to apply for this recruitment.
Candidates should note that they have acquired the prescribed qualification. Also, the age of the candidates should be more than 18 years. However, SC/ST/OBC/Handicapped and other reserved categories candidates are given relaxation in the upper age limit as per the state government rules, for more details see the notification issued.

Information About Eklavya Model Residential School
Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) is a Government of India scheme for model residential school, specifically for Scheduled Tribes across India. It is one of the flagship interventions of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India and was introduced in the year 1997-98 to ensure tribal students get access to quality education in the remote tribal areas. EMRSs are set up in States/UTs with grants under Article 275(1) of the Constitution of India.
As per the budget 2018-19, every block with more than 50% ST population and at least 20,000 tribal persons, will have an Eklavya Model Residential School by the year 2022.
